Breeding Stock
The Olde English "Babydoll" sheep are a rare breed of miniature sheep that originated in Southeastern England in the 1780's. They were imported into the United States in 1803. "Babydolls" are known for their wooly faces that appear to be smiling. These adorable sheep measure 18-24 inches tall at the shoulder when shorn and weigh 70-150 lbs. Pozzi's Korner participates in the USDA Voluntary Scrapie Flock Certification Program. Our Babydoll sheep are dual registered in the Olde English "Babydoll" Southdown Sheep Registry and the North Amercian Babydoll Sheep Association and Registry.
